The Reunion Planning Committee had made arrangements for a block of rooms with Hotel Indigo in Basking Ridge near the Warren Township border.  We recently became aware that Hotel Indigo is undergoing renovations and that, in additon to construction activity during the day, hotel guests may be incovenienced due to renovations affecting the restaurant and bar and closing the fitness center (use of local Y will be covered by Hotel Indigo).  Some have elected to remain at Hotel Indigo, Allen Road, Basking Ridge, Telephone: (908) 580-1300.

1.  Best Western Murray Hill, 535 Central Ave, New Providence  (908) 665-9200.

The Best Western in Murray Hill agreed to match the $109 per night special rate that was in place for the block at Hotel Indigo.  This facility offers an adjacent restauarant and bar and fitness center.  Brreakfast is included. Although a longer distance from Forest Lodge than the Hotel Indigo, Best Western-Muray Hill may present a viable option. Mention Watchung Hills Reunion when you call the hotel to make a reservation.

2.  Courtyard by Marriott, 595 Martinsville Rd., Basking Ridge, Basking Ridge, NJ , Telephone number for reservation, Telpheone: 1-855-809-3511. Rooms for $159 and $179.  Mention Watchung Hills Reunion.

3.  Embassy Suites, 250 Connell Dr, Berkeley Heights, Telephone number:  1-855-809-3511.   Rates may be variable based upon length of stay.  This hotel was opened three weeks and features substantial amenities, including salt water pool and Starbuck's.
